NEMRD Meeting Minutes Nov 2019

NEMRD Meeting Agenda 11.20.19  6:45 pm

Attendance: Carey Wirtzfeld, Peggy Merrill, Janice Bird, Kacey Pickard, Preston Faiks 

Review Minutes – Kacey forgot to attach them to the email so no min were approved at this meeting.  

Treasurers' Report –   Updated revenue, expenditures and Rental report provided by Janice.  

Board Member Reports-

    1. Carey -  

      1. Pay Pal set up for 2020 season

      2. Contracts for next Season

        1. Pool

        2. Tennis Maintenance – employees this year will give time estimates of work to Peggy and we will review contract

        3. Shoveling/trash pick up - 

          1. Club house shoveling/cleaning – James Wirtzfield/parent

          2. Entry way shoveling/cleaning – Lucas Radic/parent

        4. Cleaning club house – annual starting in January

        5. Clubhouse manager – annual starting in January

        6. Landscape – annual after budget is done

        7. Trees – 

      3. Pool re-plastering – 

        1. Peggy moves to re-plaster the pool in 2020 for no more than $90,000 with Alpine.  Preston Seconds. Motion passes.

      4. Email motion to approve the cost of replacing the window at the Tennis bathrooms with plexi glass at a cost of $355.00 made by Peggy.  Second by Kacey. Preston is unresponsive to call for email vote. Motion passes.

      5. Safe Systems Discussion 

    2. Janice- 

      1. Budget

        1. Add $2700 to address security needs for 2020

        2. Reduce Pool Sign budgeting to $1,000 instead of $10,000

        3. Budget for the plaster needs to be moved from 555 to 550, also needs to be removed from each CD in the withdrawals area

        4. Hot water heaters for the locker rooms – budget should be sufficient at this time to cover that

      2. Motion to approve the budget as amended in the meeting made by Peggy.  Second by Kacey. Motion Passes.

      3. Pay workers comp and insurance

      4. Denver water report discussed

      5. Fire Inspection Report Discussed

      6. Janice moves to purchase 12 lounge chairs at an expense $2625.  Peggy Second. Motion passes.

      7. Tennis Playground

        1. Preston moves to replace the broken “pods” on the playground for $2500.  Peggy seconds. Motion Passes.

    3. Peggy-

      1. Tennis Courts 

        1. Peggy moves to approve purchase of 2 wind screens for $1150.  Kacey Seconds. Motion Passes.

      2. Snow removal contract - Done

      3. Sprinklers front entry way – trying to get Ingrams to come fix

      4. Trees 

        1. Kacey moves to have the parkway trees trimmed, cleaned out for upto $2000.  Peggy Seconds. Motion Passes.

    4. Kacey-

      1. Get all unposted min to Preston to post on the web page

  3. Clubhouse- It’s time to think about reserving the clubhouse for your WINTER events

  5. Business for Next meeting – Special Meeting and Oct meeting minutes need to be approved, contract for tennis maintenance; holiday BBQ, CC/Cash/Check,
